![]() I finally found a moment to catch my breath. Aela is busy working on the next two issues of Grave Goods and I, in theory, am writing the fourth and fifth installments. Mostly, we are shivering and drowning our winter sorrows in coffee. The frigid conditions here are unrelenting. Even the studio is cold today. Things have been hectic. I had an unexpected surgery and then we both came down with COVID. We recovered just in time to make the trek to FanExpo New Orleans 2025 and had a great time acting like ninnies on our road trip. The cold seemed to follow us South but the folks in NOLA were still remarkably hospitable. FanExpo was something of a triumph. The comic book industry was well represented, and we had the chance to meet a number of indie comic creators. We got to introduce Knell to a lot of people, and she managed to make new fans. Now we’re back home in the frozen climes of Kentucky, working hard to get more Grave Goods onto the shelves. We’re only slightly behind schedule, which is a bit of a wonder, considering the brutish weather and ill-timed reappearance of COVID. We look forward to releasing Dirge II next month. Look for us at the Dark Market, hosted by Art Sanctuary. RTK
